The Gambian Canadian Cultural Association of Toronto is a non-profit organization formed to unite all Gambian residents in Toronto. As such, funds raised by the association shall be used to service the activities of its members and also to donate to charitable causes in The Gambia and Canada.
The Association appreciates that all the different Gambian tribes in Toronto share certain common historical and cultural beliefs as well the same religion which needs to be cherished wherever we live as Gambian people. In addition, we desire to find ways to promote Gambian Culture and explore ways to assist in the development of Canada. It is our hope that our Gambian heritage will be upheld within the Canadian Multicultural environment.
