The Annual Confronting Anti-Black Racism 2025

The African Canadian Social Development Council (ACSDC) is proud to host its annual Confronting Anti-Black racism Conference.

This year’s theme is The Criminal Justice System, Policing, and Black Youth

The conference will bring together youth, community leaders, service providers, policymakers, and advocates for an engaging day of:
• Keynote Address by Dr. Kanika Samuels-Wortley, Associate Professor
• Panel Discussions on justice, policing, and community safety
• Workshops on leadership, mentorship, and advocacy
• Networking Opportunities with community agencies, mentors, and youth leaders
• Vendor Exhibits highlighting resources, services, and supports for youth

This is more than a conference—it’s a call to action. Together, we aim to address critical issues, educate, and create meaningful opportunities that uplift and empower Black youth.”
