Mr. Kabu Asante presented Habib Ali the African Council 2023 calendar alongside Imam Yacubo Cisse of Ghana and his paralegal partner Abdul Qadeer at the Pepper pot fest event organized by One Love Family Services.

It was a pleasure to have Mr. Kabu Asante the Executive Director of African Council, whom I met earlier in the year at the Anti-Racism conference, attend the Pepper Pot Festival, hosted by our One Love Family Services, he being a donor and supporter of the families we serve in GTA with food hampers.

The pepper pot dish is a national dish of Guyana, served at Christmas and it could be made from halal beef, chicken, lamb and vegetables and not only pork, showing the rich multi culturalism and religious diversity of Guyana and Canada and of course Africa.
